What their information left out was that:

Multiple times I instucted that the delivery would be on post through the gate. Proper documents would be needed. Every time I was asssured this would happen. The 13th of June 2017 comes around and they miss the first window that Rooms To Go assured me they would make it in. I get a call from the driver 20 minutes prior to the next window and am told I will have to come to the gate. No worries I show up and the driver was turned around because he didn't have the right documents. I call both the driver and the customer service center. No answer from the driver and all 4 calls to the call center assure me the driver will be coming back they just need to reach him. I say at the gate for an hour before I headed home. Then I get told the next day when I didn't get my son's bed. Sorry we can't even reschedule until the furniture is logged back into the warehouse. Really? So it's on a truck and can't be brought back? Ok I ask for my money back. Well they can't do that because the person who sold it to me was a manager and only he can authorize a refund. He is on vacation until the end of the week. Lovely so no money and no furniture. Seems that Rooms To Go kids is run by some omnipotent God because there is no boss other than this one manager. He is the alpha and omega of this store and does not answer to anyone else. This place is a nightmare and I recommend no one ever use them.

2. an offer to email the service department for a possible next day appointment.

The screws (more than I needed) arrived on Monday (2/7) after the bed was delivered on Thursday. When I called at 5pm about that same day service call, I was offered two things:

I immediately called customer service and was told again they would "overnight the screws and when they arrived I could call back and they would attempt to set up a same day service call". It was after business hours on a Thursday, so I asked to arrange the appointment for the next day. Customer service stated it was the policy to wait until they came in to make the appointment. Knowing this would push until Monday, I protested but unsuccessful. They did offer to refund the $80 delivery and set up fee.

I assembled the bed myself and have not seen the $80 refunded to my account.

I feel like the pricing is a bit high on some of the furniture. Nice stuff.

1. Overnight didn't mean it was leaving that night

While the sales portion was very pleasant, the delivery and post sale customer service stinks. Order took 10 to arrive and when it did (2/2), it wasn't complete and could not be assembled. The driver said they would "overnight" the screws and send out a technician. He wrote up the missing screws and was on his way leaving the parts of the bed in a mess on the floor.

1. an appointment 15 days later (2/22)

2. They were not paying for you to getting it the fastest possible

When pressed, they admitted that the service department closed at 4:30 and the screws would arrive on my normal UPS delivery (5pm).

Nothing about this level of customer service is acceptable. I would think long and hard before I shopped at any Rooms to Go.

you folks warned me and like a fool i thought i was different, well should have listened to you. purchased a new living room set a week ago today i'm called and told that i will need to be at my house from 7 am to 10 pm just in case the delivery can't make the 11-3 delivery time. are you kidding me even "comcrash" and at&t gets closer than that. we will see what happens but i really dont think that it takes that long to drive from Dunn North Carolina just to deliver a living room. So sorry i didn't take your warning but my husband did not like the set i selected at Haverty's or southeaster.

P.S. the call center is useless and there is no one else who can take responsibility for the poor decisions made in the last 48 hours.
