Good location. Clean room. Comfortable bed. Standard amenities. Helpful staff. Guest rooms feature an "eco-friendly temperature control system" that is supposed to detect whenever you leave the room and respond by cooling it less while you're away. The problem here is that its method of detection is motion, which means that the cooling system shuts off while you're asleep! I awoke 2-3 times during the night from discomfort and basically had to stand up beside the bed to trigger the motion detector, before lying down to fall back asleep. It's a great way for the hotel to save money on the cost of electricity, but to do so at such great expense to guest comfort?
Very nice hotel. Little hard to find from the main road, but it's close enough to the interstate to be convenient without being close enough to hear it at night. The staff was super professional and helpful, and we're able to seamlessly extend my one night stay into a two night. The rooms are clean, and come with stoves and cooking amenities (very welcome over some other hotels.) Don't stay here if you want to be in downtown Charleston, it's about a twenty minute drive (an easy drive) away but its location is actually quite pleasant and surrounded by just about any amenity you could reasonably ask for.
This is my second time staying here for work. DJ, Ron, and Sheryl are great! Restaurants, a mall, gym, and a movie theater all right there! Easy access to downtown via Rivers Avenue. My one compliant.... Neighbors can be little noisy, but if you work like I do, you'll sleep through anything! Maybe bring a fan or play music if you're a light sleeper. Otherwise, I'll be using them again!
Great location, very accommodating suites with kitchenette. Not sure why we didn't get maid service every day, perhaps we had to request it?
I'm very glad that we stayed at this location. It's next to the mall and a movie theatre. The suite was spacious with a comfortable king bed and pull out couch. The room also had a fully furnished kitchen with a refrigerator plus huge closets. The bathroom was large as well. The entire hotel was very clean and the staff were all wonderful. They provided food for a Wednesday evening social which was a nice surprise. The hotel is pet friendly which is hard to find at a decent price and as clean as this one is. Well worth the price.
