You really can't compare Wal-Mart to any other retail store. It's a place to purchase consumer items at a cheap price, often than not, the cheapest. That's where the "advantages" of shopping at this Wal-Mart stops. Lines. They must have fifty registers, though seldom have five open. Twenty or more shopping carts full at 8:00pm on a Friday and only three manned registers open, three self serve registers with another five full carts out (usually by those whom felt they missed their calling as register operators but are considerably slower). Ah yes, Wal-Mart.
Not enough registers, not enough associates... and right before Christmas. Also the person at self checkout randomly approaches me and says it's nor 12 items or less. I asked her when that was established and where was it posted? She could answer neither....
I was at Wal-Mart and picked up a razor for my son which had been priced incorrectly. They were very understanding and honored the price difference. It renewed my faith in customer service and I will forever be a loyal Wal-Mart customer because of it. Wonderful experience.
We had just come from Dr's office, and my husband was sick and had a fever. He was overheated and waiting in checkout line. He decided he would have to leave without our purchases. A supervisor who was monitoring the checkout area spotted him and led us immediately to a separate counter that could take us right away. She deserves our thanks and tremendous credit for being an outstanding representative of Walmart.
The men's room is disgusting. Two stalls one out of order the other with no paper in the dispenser. There was plenty on the floor however. Also the fitting rooms close at ten pm.... WHAT'S UP WITH THAT! It is a 24 hour store. Don't tier want to sell cloths after 10pm. Still not enough cashiers even with the self checkouts which were all way backed up still took 30 minutes just to get to the register.
