JC Penny's online operation is a complete mess bordering on fraudulent. Trying to return an item is a nightmare. Three times I waited more than an hour on the phone for a "representative" to answer my call. I returned an item with ALL of the original paperwork and get an e-mail reading:
It gives a single phone number (no email, no chat) and no one ever answers that number
"Unfortunately our system requires that a return and reorder be processed for the item to be sent out. For your privacy we don't have access to your payment information."
I love JcPenney!!! I do not like this particular store though. The store is small and has way too much inventory. It’s congested all through the aisle. Customer service is not that great either. Should have never closed down the location in the West Ashley area.
Associates are a pleasure always, (a lot of kind, friendly people) and you can find some really good deals but the sizes are not in proper place on racks, the AC needs to be turned.
Glenda in the formal men's wear department was so wonderful this evening. We were there trying to pick out a suit for a funeral and had never done so before. Glenda was patient, caring when she found out what we were there for, and so helpful in our decision making process and trying to find sizes. I would recommend her to anyone in need of assistance in men's clothing. So glad we decided to come there instead of one of the bigger known suit stores in the area. Couldn't be happier!!!
It's a good place to shop for your family. Have got a nice collection with good pricing.
