I applied for a job at Trident Medical Center and has been turned down several times. It hurt because I' m highly qualified for all the positions I'd apply for. I had a bad experience once there. I suffered a miscarriage and I had to wait in ER waiting area for an 1hr 1/2 before being seen. I went to get checked out and it wasn't even 10 mins in the room and I was told to put my pants back on and sit back into waiting room because a guy had came in with chest pain. So did not the life of my child was important too???? I lost that child due to the hospital negligence. I wanted to sue, but didn't. However, I did returned two yrs later with another miscarriage, but this time I was blessed to have some of the sweetest nurses working that day. They took care of my every need before going in surgery and after in recovery.
Another great experience at Trident for an MRI. This was my first so I was a bit nervous leading up to it. The technician explained everything as she was recording the images, and I was able to relax. The speed was what really impressed me. Friday afternoon is my only free time and I was in and out in less than one hour. Definitely recommend Trident Health for any medical testing!
I came in and was kept in the ER until I could be transferred to an inpatient facility. The staff was great about getting a psychiatrist to see me, but in the 24 hours I was kept in the ER, not once did they bring me a pillow or blanket even after asking for them. There was nothing to do besides stare at the walls, my T.V. didn't even work so I was bored out of my mind. Overall a pretty bad experience to be honest.
They called to check on my and sent me a get well card. I'm forever grateful to those few who truly didn't took my life for granted.
Care after a bat bite incident. The care was quick and fine, but the payment handling has been a total disaster. First, they lost the insurance information. Instead of contacting me, they tossed it right to a collections agency (which was surprisingly helpful), even though they actually denied that they did that (even after the collections agency had contacted me). This has been taking months to resolve, which is even harder as I am not a US resident.
Doctors here are great, the financial side, not so much. They have a deal with CSU students across the road for a flat rate of $60 for anything they need done, from lab test, to exams. Went here a few times, and got a bill in the mail where they tried to charge me $1000+ in medical bills. Called them, and they got it all fixed to $60 as it was suppose to be. If you’re a CSU student going here, make sure you check your bills and make sure they are right.
