I have never been to the ER here and I hate going but I did. My wait time was very short, maybe only 15mins from entering the doors to seeing the Doctor. The Doctor was very personable, educational and even though I have insurance, he didn't do needless medical test. The nurses were all very nice and checked in on me - making sure I didn't need anything. I was even given a heated warm blanket when I got cold. Within an hour of arriving, I had my CT scan, which confirmed the Doctors diagnosis. The Doctor explained everything to me about what was going on and even spoke with a Neurosurgeon and set-up my referral with him. I left with a treatment plan including referral, follow-up, my CT scan results and medication to keep me comfortable until I see the Neurosurgeon. I could not be more pleased with my experience and would not just recommend them, but I will be returning if need be in the future. Going to the ER can be a scary dreadful experience with long waits, irritable staff and sometimes not the best care or attentiveness but, thankfully that was my experience here at all. The only thing I wish they would implement is a feedback form to fill out. I was trying to locate an online form so I could compliment the staff to the Hospital but there isn't one that I could find. Hopefully, this will be just as good!
Me and my husband were pleasantly relieved when we found that this was the best lab to do a pediatric test for our newborn baby. This may be because we went on Saturday and there was nobody else in the waiting room. But, the people at the front desk were efficient and professional and the lady who did our lab work knew what she was doing and minimized the discomfort for our newborn by putting a warming pad on her foot unlike the other diagnostic Centers we have been to. We have nothing but good things to say about this visit to the lab.
Had 2 worst experience here. I was extremely sick with horrible diarrhea and vomiting. Waited in the waiting room for an hour .The lady at the front desk was rude as hell. As sick as I was they pumped me with fluids because I couldn’t pee in a cup. And when I finally had to go still being hooked to an Iv, the people where sitting around talking. I nearly wet myself and vomited on myself. The only person who went out of thier way was my nurse.
Doesnt Deserve 1 Star I literally just left this hospital for excess fluid build up on my legs for three days. After 2 hours of waiting and only 3 ppl in the waiting room. I got a bed and was asked to undress completely so i assumed i would be tested or at least an x ray nope. Doctor came in Mathew Hoskins didnt touch me asked me what i ate yesterday and said oh your eating too much salt go on a diet and put your feet up. But didnt even ask any other questions. For this to keep happening it has to be a reason other than food especially when i havent eaten anything in 24 hours except water bc I have had swollen ankles alot in the past month. Went 10 feet across the street to musc they immediatly gave me an ultrasound and I have fluid on my heart and lungs and have to be admitted. Dont waste your time going to this place their just guessing. Then the ragedy nurse gonna say its still 350 co pay when i mentioned that the doctor didnt even touch me. I see why the place was empty.....Please GO TO MUSC!!!! The students and doctors there are more caring
Although this is a good enough urgent care option , the rude women in reception are enough not to make me want to come back. Janine especially was way out of line making fun of people and calling them names such as weirdo , ridiculous and idiotic. I guess she assumed no one could hear or understand her . Very unprofessional . Won't be coming back to here because I can't imagine what she said about me when I wasn't in earshot .
2nd experience my mom thier was here for her very low blood sugar. The people at the front desk of course were rude as hell. Then my mother’s stomach growled when she got back to the room, the nurse rudely asked “you haven’t fed her yet? “ which I responded no she wouldn’t eat. She had a small snack. She gave her gram crackers and Gatorade. We waited while of course they sat around talking this being an emergency. We asked for someone and they said they’d be a minute and of course it was about 15 minutes. There were bed bugs crawling around where my sick mother was laying! Dried blood on the bed and floor !They finally had called an ambulance to have her transferred downtown roper where it was a ton better! Wouldn’t ever recommend this place!
