It's a really nice park! They did a great job with it. It feels safe and has a lot to do.
Every time they have a event there the peoole coming in always are rude and unfriendly. Most of the grounds keepers are not friendly and the just mean mug at you. They don't wave and/or say hey how are you doing. Most of the grounds keepers are white. One guy waves and smiles and he is Africa-American. The white grounds keepers don't treat you like human being.
They did an amazing job with this park! Water play area for kids, fishing, and beautiful monuments and landscaping!
I really like this park. Nice shade coverage, great view, supports our military, all around great place to hang.
I have been going to the festival on the 4th for the last 5 years and the fireworks were outstanding. The music this year was not as good as in other years. I would be willing to pay a little to go to the event if we can get better bands and talent.
