I order the chicken tenders ($12.99). The server brough out two regular sized tenders and two tenders that were the size of a piny finger. I returned the plate to the serve and requested another order of tenders. The server came back and stated that the manager refused to do anything about fixing my order because all the chicken tenders would be that size. Meanwhile another person in my party ordered the exact same meal and was given full size tenders. I will never patronize this restaurant again because of poor customer service.
My fiancee and I went out on date night and we live in Goose Creek. We are both from out of town but were stationed here at the base, so our opportunities to go out aren't always there. However, on a whim since we hadn't planned ahead, we said, "Hey, let's try that Smokey Bones place." We arrived and the greeter sat us right away. There were barely ten tables sat in the whole restaurant, which was weird to us given the quality of service and the food. We were in Savannah's section. She was wonderful and recommended various drinks and foods, all of which were super on point. We ordered strawberry sangria, which was big and tasty, and various wings/wings&ribs combos. We also got fried pickles, which were crispy, not over-greasy. The food was great, and considering we live in a BBQ-rich area, the BBQ quality was surprising to us from what appeared to be a chain. Also, the wings were enormous with lots of meat. You definitely get what you pay for. The place was neither the cleanest nor the messiest restaurant we've ever been in, but definitely nothing to balk at. Our table seemed wiped down, cleaned up, with maybe a piece of paper or two from a straw on the inside most part of the booth. Nothing that bothered either of us. Overall, we're really happy we went there. We were surprised it had only 3.5 and there were so many scathing reviews, so figured we'd go all out writing this one!
The service at Smokey Bones is very distasteful! We waited to be seated for 10 minutes so we sat ourselves. Waited to get our waters with lemon for 15 minutes. Management and waiters are very argumentative with customers! Remember the customer is always right! I waited 45 minutes on food as others did! The waitress didn’t come over to check on us at all!! Lied and said she had a table of 30 people and didn’t!! Kept provoking our table to pay for trashy food and service!! Hair was in our food, ((MADISON PLAYED IN HER HAIR WHILE PREPPING FOOD WITH ANY GLOVES))No refills on drinks, called the manager Joann Fisher to our table several times upon showing up 20 minutes later (Which she’s ever ruder than the waitress Madison!) Waitress Madison needs to be FIRED IMMEDIATELY she argues with customers! This issue will be pursued with Corporate! I’ll NEVER EVER EVER EVER EVER EVER!! EAT AT THIS POOR SERVICE NO STAR HAVING RESTAURANT! I RECOMMEND NO ONE ELSE EAT HERE AS WELL!! NEEDS TO BE SHUT COMPLETELY DOWN!!
Really good BBQ, not the best I've ever had but really good. Overall the experience was fantastic! Greeted by a friendly hostess but I went straight to the bar to eat since I'm here from out of town and by myself. Rob, at the bar was very personable, super nice guy. He recommended and let me taste a local brew, tasted great. He did well with that recommendation so I asked him about the menu, BBQ in particular. He said I should have the smoked wings and pulled pork combo. I don't normally eat wings, it's a lot of work for not much in substance. These wigs were the exception, lots of meat and oh so tasty. The pulled pork was good, did not require a lot of BBQ sauce. The onion rings were a little salty but didn't stop me from eating all of them. The beans were awesome. I love baked beans and these are on pardon with what my wife makes, which are the best on the planet. The fun part of the evening was watching the hostess seat people, this girl was having fun. She smiled the entire time and would sing along with the music. Overall a great experience.
BAby back ribs cooked well but the sauce medium to fair. Alright food for the price but I am not over all impressed. Service was great
