This place saved my dogs life he came in with a 105 fever and on deaths door. The staff and Doctor was very professional and caring at 2am The price is a little high but we'll worth the money. We should all be thankful such a place exist 24 hours to take care of our pets when an emergency strikes. My dog is doing great now, thank you.
Horrible horrible horrible!!!!! Rip off! Lied about my dog having a bad heart ended up having to put my dog down the next day! We left our dog overnight the day doctor said he had pneumonia then the night doctor called and wanted to do more X-rays because his heart spiked. Which was more money, our normal bet had the dog on heart pills because we were told he had a bad heart it would help, we’ll the emergency vet took him off because they said his heart was good! So he got worse overnight because the emergency vet took him off his heart medication. We went there the next morning and the doctor said it’s a life Decision so after $2000 we had to put our dog down after he said he would live three more years! If it wasn’t the weekend we would have went to our regular vet!
Took my 8 year old Chocolate Lab on New Years Eve for a spider or snake bite on his mouth. The evaluated him and treated him conservatively sending us home with some pain relief and antibiotics. They gave us the choice from a couple of options. I feel that the charges were very fair and reasonable for an emergency facility.
These are money grubbing folks that do not have your pet's best interest at heart. I brought my 11 year old sick, lethargic, cat with no appetite and has lost weight and may have had what appears to be a seizure. They wanted $754 for diagnostic tests and gave absolutely no clue what they thought was the issue. They "thought" he had some kind of infection, yet his temp was normal. I've owned cats my entire life and it appears to me that he's in the midst of possible kidney failure. Not too much you can do when you're already on that slippery slope. We had considered euthanasia as we didn't want to prolong his suffering. It comes at a cost though, $143; cremation (handled by a third party) is $83 without getting the cremains; $103 to get them back. They even try to sell you a box to put the body in if you choose to bury the pet yourself. They prey on your emotions because they know you love your pet. So, after nearly 4 hours of waiting, they finally gave him a subcutaneous shot of fluids (saline) an antibiotic and something for nausea. We ended up taking him home where we will monitor him closely. Guess what? He's eating, but will need to continue that and fluids if he is to rebound from this. Going to our regular vet who is straight forward AND empathetic, not just in it for the cash. Live5 news where are you? So many similar complaints...many bad outcomes.
It has taken me some time to write this review. I feel this company took advantage of me as the Cat was my son's who is in the Air Force. I had to take my cat late on Memorial Day, he was pretty lethargic. After about 1.5 hrs they told me it would be approx $700. I told them it was my son's cat and that I was willing to give him the treatment. I told them my son is in the Air Force and as I can't reach him, I needed to help his cat. 3 hours later, after 1 am, they brought me a bill for $2191.00. And said I had to pay or the cat may die. I feel they totally took advantage of the situation and have no respect for the military or their service to our country. They had not done the catheterization they said was so urgent 4 hours earlier. They carried the very ill cat to me to say good-bye. After telling me his bladder was so extended he may not make it, they carried him and put unneeded pressure on his bladder. I feel they exaggerated the fee as they knew I would pay. Yet, they did nothing to help my cat during the extended time I waited. The next day(6 hours later) they told me it would be another $800 to keep him there for another 24 hrs. and told me it was not safe to move him. I had to pay via credit card. I removed him the following morning before 7 or it would have been an additional charge. His regular vet took over and took great care of my cat at normal rates. There were dogs at the clinic that night with snake bites that required anti venom and an over night stay, and they were charged $800. They took advantage of my situation. Enter at your own risk.
