She, Dawn and one more person are really nice people..in the station
it's your typical non-big city amtrak station. you can tell it is a 1950's era building and i actually like the quirkyness to it. it has ample seating inside and enough seating inside. there is an area to cover you outside in the event of incliment weather as well. parking is decent, but be aware that entering the parking lot from the road is a little confusing but it works.
My first time on a train. It was scheduled to leave at 4:51am. Got to the station at 3:30am only to find it is beyond late 6:30am and now it s 7:00am. Hopefully I will get to ride the train. Waiting area is lame...no coffee. Not sure if I will do this ever again...I gave it a star for the price. Guess this is what you get when government runs things....
On the platform are a pair of what can best be described as tall church pews.
Car was at CHS Airport. Didn't have UBER in my Cellphone.
Great and Awesome people work there.. First time..when I went, Victoria went out of the way to help.
Built with the best materials. In the 1950's. This building certainly won't win any awards for beauty.
This was close to midnight closing time.
HOWEVER, it does serve its purpose as a passenger station. There are two waiting rooms inside, a ticket and baggage window, restrooms and vending machines. And wooden phone booths. I keep waiting to see Clark Kent walk in and Superman zip out.
Phone didn't charge in train...first time after October 2012
Awful experience, wish I could give negative stars. This is my first and last time using an Amtrak train. Save yourself the time and money and just take a bus
