River oaks is not as great as it sounds. Yes it has great ratings but i go to this school and it's not great. You can't go one day without drama, you get picked on for no reason and that's only the students. Some teachers are great but there are some that are awful. Beside the restroom are never clean, the hallway are always crowded. When the hallways are crowded you are most likely going to be late and then you get in trouble. When you want to go to the restroom most of the time you can't because the teacher won't let you go even if it's an emergency. There is always that group that has to go to the office because of something and if you know something you can get in trouble to. And most of the time you are judged of your race and you also put aside because of your race.

I don't know why people call this school trash... There are great teachers and some great people. This is a great school with even better people.The only problem I see with it is someof thje students but besides that it is great!
For 1 the teachers r great (some), but anyways this is great but it would b better if the bathrooms in the 8th grade hallway didn't smell like s**t, and it would be so much better if the teachers would grade papers for once , and if u know curtis jenkins ur school year is ruined because he's always b****ing about this fat*** boy named malichi, and finally f**k u travon u look my grandpa.
Decent school I would have moved schools by now but there only one thing keeping me back from going to Oakbrook 1. My friends are here 2. My favorite art teacher is here and 3. we only have a semester left so there would be no point to switch school I would just end up with the same kids in High school. Some reasons that I like the school are because most of the teatchers are nice, the lunch ladies and janitors are nice and they TRY to stop fights. I have no idea why but, if you stand up for yourself and fight back they'll take disciplinary actions on you and the other individual so your just supposed to take the hits i'd like to go and see any of the teachers get punched and see if they fight back or don't unlike ms.Viscidi who got hit in the face atleast 3x last year when there was a fight on my way to 4th period.
