Like the other parks I've been to in SC Wannamaker is very well kept and picturesque. Admission is $2/adult or free if you have a Gold Pass. I'm not sure about admission to the water park.
We took our little shitpoo to the dog park. It is nice. There were lots of big dogs but just a few little ones. The bathrooms are a few minute walk but are very nice. They charge $2 per person which is a little steep.
Great park with LOTS to do. Besides events that are held there they have a dog park (big & little dogs), paddle boat & bike rental, playground equipment, a snack bar, trails, and a separate water park.
Great place! Good for picnics and parties. Picnic tables and grills, dog park , trails , boats and more! Beautiful place very clean! My son loves it!
I would encourage dog owners to pick up their dogs’ poo. There were land mines everywhere.
Great park. There's a FREE fountain for kids to play in the summer, and an excellent water park. I recommend just getting passes to the water park, 3 times pays for itself. Kids sleep like champs after a long day here. Park has 2 great playgrounds for toddlers and older school age children. Paddle boats and bikes are available to rent. You can also reserve pavilions for parties. There's also a dog park. If you buy a park pass you also get a pass to see the Christmas lights at James's island county park.
Kind of a mixed bag. Nice park overall, but occasional riff raff at the playground and dog park. They could do a better job with cleanliness, but overall your standard public park.
