We bought our mattress in October of 2016 for all members of my family. We have never made such a large purchase. It was a difficult decision, but we are so happy with the choice to go with Charleston Mattress Company!
From walking in the shop door 'til our new mattress was delivered and in-use, it was a joy to purchase from Charleston Mattress! Liz was wonderful, and helped us find just the right mattress. Our delivery was perfect...they gave us a time, and they arrived spot on. Olin couldn't have been more helpful or nicer. Don't look any further... buy here and buy LOCAL!
I have 2 mattresses from here and they're both fantastic. The prices are super competitive. They let you take your time picking out what's best for you and are very helpful with any questions that you might have.
We decided to go with a Queen Euro Firm and box spring. I'm giving 2 stars instead on 1, because the mattress was super comfortable at first. Within 3 months we had huge sagging on each side and were having to flip the mattress every 3 days due to back pain from the sagging. I measured the sag at 6 months and it was at 2.5". I wish I could add pictures on here. I contacted the owner and was told I would have to bring the mattress in for a review. The problem is, we live close to Charlotte, NC. Had I known the warranty would not be helpful, I would have not taken such a huge financial risk like this. $1000 is A LOT of money for our family. I was pretty much given the cold shoulder.
So disappointed. My husband and I waited years to get a new mattress. When we finally decided to invest in one we wanted high quality that was going to last. Locally made and sourced is important to us. When we researched out wants and needs, The Charleston Mattress Company came up. I talked to the owner. She told me how they ship up and down the east coast regularly and haven't had a problem.
Uncomplicated, friendly, no pressure sale. Delivery was within a few days. Drivers called ahead, were on time, professional and very mindful while navigating our difficult stairs. The product is exceptional. All around great experience!
About a year after our purchase, I just want take it anymore. I'm fed up with flipping and/or rotating every other day! We decided to tear off the box spring cover to see what kind of support there was on it.
I highly recommend this company to all of my friends!
The customer service is fantastic, Liz and K.C. make sure you feel completely comfortable about your decisions and ensure the highest quality product. My favorite part is that our mattresses are locally made!
I am so highly upset. If you must buy the manufacturer's box spring in order to use the warranty, then why is it so poorly made? Our box spring is made out of firing strips and 2x4 chunks. Really?? No wonder it is sagging. You can see the sag in the firing strips. This is absolutely unacceptable. I strongly urge you to look else where if you are not local. There is nothing I can do, but get a new box spring with quality and hope the mattress isn't permanently ruined from it. I would expect better quality out of such a highly recommended company and pricey mattress.
