We went to the new Ladson office. Greg Edward was so very kind and helpful. We appericate everything he did to help us. It was a very family friendly environment. I would surely recommend this place.
Choosing Simplicity, the sibling informed us when all was done, Simplicity had done an performed outstandingly and she was completely satisfied. They had communicated quickly throughout, had actually taken paperwork to the Doctor for signature when the death certificate was delayed, and even met the sibling with the remains even though the office was closed on that particular day. Plus the their standard container for the ashes was was much nicer than the first funeral home.
My husband passed away last Saturday. He had been ill for 5 years. They showed up at our home to get him and they were quiet and very respectful. They left me a beautiful silk Rose with a poem attached to it as a keepsake. I felt with Greg at the treeland drive office of the funeral home. He made the whole experience as easy and painless as possible. They treat you like family, with respect and dignity. I would recommend them to anyone in there time of bereavement.
Recently a close friend passed away and the sibling asked for support as they chose who to perform the service the deceased requested...final wishes were for a cremation with no service: simple, inexpensive and as quickly as possible.
We visited a funeral home with a long history in the Charleston area and reviewed their details and cost and then went to Simplicity. What we found was that the first funeral home performed a few extra services in their cremation procedure such as a viewing if requested and presented the details of the service to us in such an over- reserved and quiet way that seemed a slight bit morbid for our taste plus they quickly informed us that one of the leading (per numbers) places forming cremations in the area was recently sold to a corporation not of the Charleston area when it was mentioned that we were going to check with one other place. As if we should only consider a Charleston owned firm.
My wife and I are considering Simplicity for the future as this would meet our requirements combined with a memorial service at our own church. A lower cost, it seems, does not affect the service provided by Simplicity.
They took care of my Grandmother's services. Very professional and caring. When the time comes we will is then again. Thanks for everything!
Simplicity presented their information in a straightforward, friendly very mater-of-fact way that left us feeling more normal. Granted, the building and chapel they provide, while clean and nice, did not match that of the first funeral home. But considering the request of the deceased, it met the requirements of all. PLUS! The price was less than 1/4 the cost of the first even though there was no problem with affording the other.
I put my trust in them with my mother and it was beyond what I could have asked for. They were so understanding and helped in anyway they could. The best people you could ever wish to help you in this time of need.
