Do not judge the daycare by the 4 year old review on here. It is now a totally great place for your child!

People are so fast to jump to conclusions. My son used to go here and it was the best daycare! He would come home excited to tell us all he learned and his stories about school. The teachers there treated him like he was their own and showed him so much love. The positive's by far outweigh the one negative. I will continue to recommend the Learning Center to anyone looking for quality child care.

Our children live in Park Circle and our grand daughter goes to the church child care center, so it was where we chose to worship Christmas Eve. My husband, daughter in law and I all agreed it was the best service ever. Rev. Reames spoke to our hearts and the beautiful Praise Dancers blessed us and the choir and musicians brought the whole worship service full circle. It was a wonderful renewing worship experience.

We thought this place was the answer to our prayers after the horrible experience we had at another child care center - we were totally wrong. We quickly found out that they keep the TV on all day - I'm not kidding, all day. If they are not watching TV, they are outside (which is good), but thats all they do, they arent learning anything. They had to redo the letter A three times because the teachers werent keeping up with lesson plans and I never heard anything about the letter B - I think they gave up. I told them to let me know if they needed any supplies and I would be glad to help - I bought $50 worth of new art supplies for the classes so they would do some art. In the few months my child was there, he never brought home one single piece of art. For mother's day, I got a white paper bag (not decorated at all) with a pen and four breath mints - no picture or anything, which is all I really wanted and expected. I asked these ladies very nicely to turn off the TV and they didnt - they were nice about it at first, but not after the first time we asked. An occasional 20 minute show is fine every now and then, but this is way beyond that - all they do is plop your child in front of Scooby Doo... which scared my two year old completely and he is now afraid of monsters and witches. And by the way, I asked them to at least stop watching Scooby Doo and they didnt. Your child will lose brain cells here - they don't care about what is best for these children. They are a little underfunded, but even when I donated toys, books, etc etc, nothing improved.
